Yumiko Urabe, piano
Violinist Rudens Turku was born in Albania but came to Germany at the age of 14. He studied violin at the Munich Conservatory and has since become an important virtuoso on the international stage. He cites as some of his non-classical influences Billie Holiday, Billy Joel, and Elton John. This new CD features his favorite miniatures and encores for violin and piano including Elgar's Salut d'amour, the Massenet Thais Meditation, plus selections by Paganini and Sarasate.
